The Chicken Hatch Roadway is an opportunity for toddlers and children under five to ride the Coleman Farm Park fun cars along the road, where they'll need to be sure to pay close attention and read the signs in order to navigate round. There's also the Straw Fun Barn, in which kids can safely run wild as they climb the straw bales, fly down the bumpy, fast-moving slides or climb the tractor tyre wall, which now features the new tyre tunnels for kids to hide in.

While having fun at the Isle of Wight's farm park, kids also get plenty of fresh air and exercise, especially when exploring the Adventure Play Area. They can scale the wooden towers, and then take a bumpy ride back down to earth on the slide. If that isn't challenging enough, they can try their hand at climbing the outpost, crossing the monkey ladder or taking on the rope net.

Even the most energetic little ones need a rest now and again, so after exerting themselves on the playground you might like to take it easy with a tractor trailer ride along the clover field to visit with the Highland cattle, Bonnie and Maggie. There's also the craft hour, when kids can have a great time creating puppets, fluffy sheep and even fridge magnets to take home as a memento of their day at the Isle of Wight's farm park.

Other features at Coleman Farm Park include the Cottage Garden Railway, which is a 'garden scale' model railway that winds through the Cottage Garden from the miniature village to the little windmill. Kids can also visit Rabbit and Guinea Pig Village; this is where the rabbits and guinea pig handling takes place, with indoor and outdoor enclosures and houses.

With so much to do at the Isle of Wight's farm park, you're likely to work up an appetite. The Old Barn Café offers a wide variety of food and drink, both hot and cold, and provides a perfect view of the Pedal Tractor Fun Park, so if the kids aren't ready to take a break they can carry on having fun without ever leaving your sight.
