The generous south-facing garden is ideal for summer BBQs and outdoor games, including Badmington and Croquet. Brighstone Forest is a short drive away, and the County Town of Newport with a Morrison's, Sainsbury's, M&S and other national and local shops can be reached in a leisurely 20 minutes. Extracts from the Casses Guestbook; March: A home from home - absolutely no negatives June: It was the nicest place we have stayed with the grandchildren - they loved it! July: Excellent family holiday. Lovely setting and countryside. Sept/Oct: Cottage beautiful, lovely beach...very relaxing stay. Had super weather. Enjoyed the badminton and garden. Fabulous walk up onto the Downs. Enjoyed the local pub and had some good hot days down on the beach...golf over in Ryde and a thorough explore of the Botanical Gardens at Ventnor.Nov/Dec: A magical place that comes alive at night, each room with its own unique feeling. Lashings of wine, food, laughter, beaches, log-fires, rain and finally...snow.
