A lovely five star luxury apartment for four which has been newly refurbished in contemporary style for the 2009 season.

The apartment is situated in a quiet location at the western end of Ventnor Bay with a stunning view overlooking the English Channel and beach. The beach and famous Spyglass Inn are two minutes walk away and it takes about five minutes to walk to the shops.

Accommodation

The apartment has two bedrooms, a large bathroom and an open plan kitchen/dining/living area with oak flooring. Wifi is available throughout.

The living area has a leather bed settee and leather chairs, HD Freesat widescreen TV, DVD player, hifi, books and DVDs. A patio door opens out onto the balcony overlooking the beach.

The kitchen is fully fitted with Bosch and Neff appliances, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, double oven/grill, full sized dishwasher and washer/drier.
There's also a microwave, toaster, kettle and a full selection of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils.

There's a round dining table which can be extended if you have guests.

The bathroom is fully tiled with separate full sized bath and power shower. Towels are provided.

The apartment has a double bedroom and a twin. Both have a sea and beach view, ceiling spotlights, plenty of storage and bed linen is provided.

Location

Ventnor is a charming Victorian town noted for its sunny summers and mild winters. It is built on the sheltered undercliff on the south of the Isle of Wight and is dominated by the highest point, St Boniface Down, immediately behind the town. Sir James Clark, Queen Victoria's doctor, endorsed the health-giving properties of Ventnor's climate: "nothing along the south coast will bear comparison with it".

In recent years Ventnor has become a centre for good food with the only Michelin starred restaurant on the island just five minutes walk from the apartment and AA two rosette dining only two minutes away. This in addition to other places to eat such as seafront pubs, an authentic Spanish Tapas Bar and a smart seafront wine bar.

The apartment has its own front door and dedicated parking space. As there is a flight of stairs from the front door to the apartment it is not suited to guests with limited mobility.
